This illustration depicts a profound connection between transcendental thought and the ambiguous emotions of our dreams. My objective was to capture a sense of divinity by using the influence of Egyptian art and architecture with a multi-dimensional theme of obscurity. The queen is tormented by visions of the serpent who imprisons her within the shadows of doubt but she ascends her spirit by raising her hands to the warm embrace of the life giving sun.
